@ibwatson@mstdn.party Really? I watched it for the first time a monthh or so ago, and I didn't get it. I steuggled through the first 2/3, and ended with a resounding "meh". (I feel Death Becomes Her was a much better film.)

@robert Oh I would much rather watch Death Becomes Her if given the choice! I thought it was decently written for a 90s mainstream flick and rooted for all three of them along the way. Bette is a gem. Just enough camp to the characters to keep it casual and fun. I rated it 3.5 stars… enough to think on it fondly and watch again in several years. DBH is more of a 4.5 in my book.
