@fosskers@emacs.ch I used to, but so few applications were properly localized/internationalized. And trying to mix parts of a locale (esp. currency and number formatting), and lack of cohesion across operating systems, makes EO a no-go until the OS suppliers "do the right thing".

@robert Thanks. My app has eo localisations, and I was curious how people went about configuring that. In /etc/locale.gen it's in there as just eo without a country specifier, which had caused a bug in the past.
What did you set your $LANG to?

@fosskers@emacs.ch To be honest, it's been over a decade, so I don't exactly remember. It may have been
eo_XX-UTF8, but that's just a guess.
