@mariellequinton@ottawa.place @kim_harding@mastodon.scot IIRC, Canada is the largest importer of American whiskey, especially bourbon. (I may be misremembering and completely wrong, but I thought it was some like nearly 80% of American whiskey exports are to Canada.)

@robert @kim_harding You'll note the graph is distilled spirits. The article is about bourbon, but the boycott in Canada is all American alcohol. Bourbon is particularly important to boycott due to it being made in Maga states, but obviously the EU is still buying lots of American spirits whatever they may be.
